NewYorkPlantings.com is a full-service landscape and garden design company, a family run business started in 1996 on Long Island by Todd Nappi's  Garden Practice and soon included Landscape Drip Irrigation Systems then Landscape Lighting with all phases of Construction in the landscapers' industry. One specialty has become custom built wood planters. The NY Plantings' developed Custom made IPE fences , our wooden custom built planter boxes for NYC rooftop gardens, sidewalk planters and heavy duty  garden planter boxes for many applications are  something we are indeed proud of and continue to build to order in our own custom planter building wood shop.

Now, New York Plantings Garden Design and Landscape has grown to be one of the most capable Gardening and Landscape Design/Build firms in the Tri-State area. Specializing in "Asian or Zen Garden Design" principles allows for the incorporation of this design philosophy and Asian ornamental horticulture into designing  NYC townhouse Landscapes, rooftop gardens, hardscapes, roof decks, patios, and the supporting elements such as outdoor lighting, drip irrigation systems and more. 

Experience such as Cornell University Cooperative Extension with degree in Horticulture. Currently certifying as a licensed Arborist and continuously advancing in education, training and practice. 

A favorite book: "Americas' Garden Book" ties back into NY's Central Park early curators.  Several years of Landscape Design, with hands-on gardening and landscaping experience: planting and caring for thousands of Trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers in NY Townhouse rear yard landscapes, rooftop gardens , Brownstone backyards, and professionals in the  servicing of drip irrigation systems, lawn sprinkler repairs and landscape lighting  throughout New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
